Mindful Yoga was born out of a desire for pure,
healing yoga for the community
in an intimate, warm and inviting environment.
We offer weekly classes ranging from Gentle Yoga, Beginner Yoga/Yoga 1, Mixed Levels, and Yoga in Depth. Our talented and certified instructors bring their own vibe and character to each class.
Our therapeutic methods are rooted in breath, mantra, meditation, ayurveda, and asana. Using a blend of techniques and one-to-one assistance, including hands on adjustments, classes focus on the needs of the students. This personalized style offers a rich, deep, satisfying experience.
Students come to Mindful Yoga for peace, instruction and knowledge ... and leave feeling part of a special community. Yoga means "to yoke" or bring together and is an ancient holistic practice that unites mind, body and spirit. The practice of hatha yoga uses a series of exercises that provide a framework to learn mental balance and concentration along with physical stamina and flexibility. To accomplish this, yoga involves physical poses known as "asanas" and the use of breathing and meditation techniques. By attending regular yoga classes, students have time to focus on breathing and postures that improve health.
