Focus and explore yoga therapeutics. Learn greater awareness of the subtle energy with yoga philosophy and ayurvedic principles, the sister science to yoga- known as the science of life. Work with anatomy and alignment, hold poses longer, and deepen your awareness. Breath awareness pranayama, and meditation are taught. Class ends with guided relaxation.

A gentle hatha yoga practice with modifications and variations to classic postures to open and release the neck, back, and hips. Increase mobility and flexibility. Explore poses for strength, spinal health, alignment, and balance. Class ends with a guided relaxation.

This class allows for total relaxation and breath awareness. Leave distractions and stresses of daily life behind. Use supportive postures and props (pillows, blankets, bolsters, blocks) to encourage gravity to create releases and openings for the body without the effort of “doing.” Benefits include reducing ever deeper muscle tension to improve range of motion, breathing, and overall mental health.
By appointment only with certified yoga therapist Pamela Grubb. Yoga therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with health challenges. Yoga therapists prescribe specific regimens of postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs.
Your first appointment is a 90 minute assessment, evaluation, and discussion of strengths and weaknesses. Appropriate techniques to reach desired goals and outcome will be addressed.
Following your first appointment, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly one-hour visits will be scheduled. A personal routine will be designed to improve overall health and well-being.
One-on-one sessions are wonderful for those who may be intimidated by a class, who want personalized instruction, or have a specific condition. During this time you learn about your body and how the body compensates for injury, tightness, or day-to-day living. Private sessions may be of interest to those with health concerns such as asthma, allergies, back issues, cancer, or other health related aliments.

Coaching on daily habits, mental health, relationship building and working on a better you helps clients to overcome their challenges and gain independence. The therapist's role is to empower clients to take a more active role in their self-care.

Support sessions focus on the 7 dimensions of wellness which may include discussion of energy levels, sleep patterns, stressors, medical concerns, diet/nutrition and breathing. Sessions encourage looking at emotional reactions to life’s events around home-life, work and community and their effect on well-being.
