A gentle hatha yoga practice with modifications and variations to classic postures to open and release the neck, back, and hips. Increase mobility and flexibility. Explore poses for strength, spinal health, alignment, and balance. Class ends with a guided relaxation.

Learn to work within your limits to avoid injury and increase range of motion and strength. Using a chair, standing and/or the floor learn how to sit, stretch, adapt poses and move more freely. Use household items or yoga props to safely improve mobility, strength and balance. Release into relaxation and feel less stress and anxiety. Class ends with a guided relaxation/meditation. Ideal for 55+, those with mobility or pain management issues.

When we are comfortable and stable in our physical and energetic body, we find it easy to direct our awareness inward. This class connects your inner attention to awareness within finding a sense of ease. Explore connecting breathe to release tension and increase awareness. End with a guided relaxation.
By appointment only with certified yoga therapist Pamela Grubb. Yoga therapy is the adaptation of yoga practices for people with health challenges. Yoga therapists prescribe specific regimens of postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation techniques to suit individual needs.
Your first appointment is a 90 minute assessment, evaluation, and discussion of strengths and weaknesses. Appropriate techniques to reach desired goals and outcome will be addressed.
Following your first appointment, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly one-hour visits will be scheduled. A personal routine will be designed to improve overall health and well-being.
One-on-one sessions are wonderful for those who may be intimidated by a class, who want personalized instruction, or have a specific condition. During this time you learn about your body and how the body compensates for injury, tightness, or day-to-day living. Private sessions may be of interest to those with health concerns such as asthma, allergies, back issues, cancer, or other health related aliments.
By appointment only with certified yoga therapist Pamela Grubb. Wellness Coaching looks at you as a whole, your daily life, your eating and sleeping habits and your environment. Coaching on daily habits, mental health, relationship building and working on a better you helps clients to overcome their challenges and gain independence. The therapist's role is to empower clients to take a more active role in their self-care.

Support sessions focus on the 7 dimensions of wellness which may include discussion of energy levels, sleep patterns, stressors, medical concerns, diet/nutrition and breathing. Sessions encourage looking at emotional reactions to life’s events around home-life, work and community and their effect on well-being.
