Soothing Yin Yang Yoga

The first half of the class begins with slow energizing yet gentle yoga or centering with Qigong, a moving meditation. Enjoy a quiet practice of restorative or yin yoga the second half of class.  Props are used to assist students with their practice. Each class ends with a guided relaxation and meditation. **Class the last Monday of every month is Yoga Nidra. **


Restorative Yoga:  Props used to create a relax state of the body & mind

Yin Yoga:  Poses held to target the  connective tissues, ligaments, joints, bones, and  deep fascia of the body rather than muscles

Yoga Nidra:   Yogic Sleep, a guided journey into a deep sense of peace 

Yoga For Backs, Hips & Hamstrings

Taught by Pamela Grubb
Gentle therapeutic practice using diaphragmatic breathing targeting the back, hips, hamstrings including knees, feet and shoulders. Improve overall health and wellbeing. Release and relax muscles and increase flexibility. Class ends with a guided relaxation. 

Stiff Person Yoga

Too tight or feel stiff?  Learn how to release tightness and tension.  Move at your pace and be more comfortable sitting, lying, and standing.  Learning how to work within your limits using yoga poses to unlock your tension.  Props used to assist in understanding letting go in the right places.  Class ends with a guided relaxation. 

Yoga In Depth

Focus and explore the in depth therapeutics of the mind and body utilizing students questions, issues, and weekly needs to deepen awareness of the body’s subtle energy. Class is enhanced with yoga philosophy and ayurvedic principles (the sister science to yoga- known as the science of life) that impacts our everyday living. Working with the anatomy of the body for alignment poses may be held longer to deepen and develop awareness. Breath awareness pranayama, and meditation are taught. Class ends with guided relaxation.

A gentle hatha yoga therapeutic class designed for seniors and those needing adapted yoga methods for movement limitations, those recovering from injury or suffer from chronic pain to help relieve discomfort, increase range of motion, and improve muscle balance. Class ends with a guided relaxation.


Students may use chairs for many of the postures in class to promote balance and safety.
