Restorative Yin Yoga

Want total relaxation? Reduce muscle tension, stretch, increase range of motion and joint health. Use yoga props and chairs to focus on breathing and work the connective tissues around joints for increased circulation and improve flexibility.  Find stillness and silence. Class ends with relaxation and meditation.

Yoga For Backs, Hips & Hamstrings

Monday 5:30 - 6:45 PM

Taught by Pamela Grubb
Gentle therapeutic practice using diaphragmatic breathing targeting the back, hips, hamstrings including knees, feet and shoulders. Improve overall health and wellbeing. Release and relax muscles and increase flexibility. Class ends with a guided relaxation. 

Stiff Person Yoga

Monday 7:00 - 8:15 PM

Too tight?  Release tightness and tension.  Move at your pace and be more comfortable sitting, lying, and standing.  Props used to assist in understanding letting go in the right places.  Class ends with a guided relaxation.

Deepen awareness of the subtle energy in poses with breath awareness pranayama, and meditation. Learn how yoga philosophy and ayurvedic principles impact your practice. Poses may be held longer to deepen and develop awareness.  Class ends with guided relaxation.

A gentle hatha yoga therapeutic class designed for seniors and those needing adapted yoga methods for movement limitations, those recovering from injury or suffer from chronic pain to help relieve discomfort, increase range of motion, and improve muscle balance. Class ends with a guided relaxation.
