Gentle Yoga Approach for Strength and Flexibility

A slow pace less intense class that supports gentle yoga movements with modifications and variations to classic postures to open and release the neck, back, and hips for increase mobility and flexibility. Explore poses that focus on abdominal and pelvic stability to assist in overall muscle strength supporting spinal health, alignment, and imbalances. Class ends with breath awareness and a guided relaxation.

Yoga For Backs, Hips & Hamstrings

Monday 5:30 - 6:45 PM

Taught by Pamela Grubb
Gentle therapeutic practice using diaphragmatic breathing targeting the back, hips, hamstrings including knees, feet and shoulders. Improve overall health and wellbeing. Release and relax muscles and increase flexibility. Class ends with a guided relaxation. 

Stiff Person Yoga / For Everyone

Monday 7:00 - 8:15 PM

Too tight or feel stiff?  Learn how to release tightness and tension.  Move at your pace and be more comfortable sitting, lying, and standing.  Learning how to work within your limits using yoga poses to unlock your tension.  Props used to assist in understanding letting go in the right places.  Class ends with a guided relaxation.

Focus and explore the in depth therapeutics of the mind and body utilizing students questions, issues, and weekly needs to deepen awareness of the body’s subtle energy. Class is enhanced with yoga philosophy and ayurvedic principles (the sister science to yoga- known as the science of life) that impacts our everyday living. Working with the anatomy of the body for alignment poses may be held longer to deepen and develop awareness. Breath awareness pranayama, and meditation are taught. Class ends with guided relaxation.

A gentle hatha yoga therapeutic class designed for active seniors and those needing adapted yoga methods for movement limitations, those recovering from injury or suffer from chronic pain to help relieve discomfort, increase range of motion, and improve muscle balance. Class ends with a guided relaxation.


Chairs are use for many of the postures in class to promote balance and safety.

Learn to use the healing art of yoga to lessen tension, dull aches, pains and discomfort and feel better in your daily living. Focus on breathing, alignment and components of meditation are taught. Class ends with guided relaxation.  

Yoga for Neck Tension, Headaches, & Shoulder Relief

This 90 minute class releases tensions of the upper and lower spine, neck, shoulders, and head. Work to decrease tension, pain, headaches, and shoulder discomfort. Learn how the body compensates to reduce dis-ease of the mind and body. Class is based on the needs and issues of the participant’s utilizing breath awareness, restorative / yin yoga poses and rolling on the connective tissue (fascia) in the body. Class ends with a guided relaxation.
